This book had all the elements of the stories I love to read. An older couple finding love after loss in a small town makes me happy. I liked that Maggie was moving on but not forgetting her husband and how much she loved him. Jake is nothing like her husband and her attraction to him builds over time. I love the town and could almost feel like I was there in that lake house.
I may be a city girl, but I would love to live in a small town where everyone knows everyone else. I enjoyed the girlfriends egging Maggie on!
This is a great book to take on vacation or to just settle in with for the weekend. I will be looking for other books by this author, Bella Greene.
