Marry Me Bitsy by Virginia Dare

Marry Me Bitsy is book 2 in the Loving Bitsy series. Simon and Bitsy are now free to find their future together. Simon’s ex-wife has moved in with Simon’s former best friend, Jeff, and Bitsy’s ex-husband is in prison. Living together, the couple is moving on, thinking about marriage and family but the family is about to descend on the unsuspecting couple throwing their plans into chaos. Simon’s mother, Edna arrives for Thanksgiving fully prepared to ensure there will be no wedding.

This was an exciting sequel, covering the aftermath of domestic violence as Bitsy struggles to escape the nightmare of her first marriage. Simon’s mother is forced to face her own demons as she finds herself dealing with some mental health issues of her own.

There are moments of joy, laughter, and sadness; you’ll have to read it and find out for yourself. I give it four stars but I enjoyed it.

I am ready for Book 3 in the series, “Bitsy’s Babies” I am looking forward to seeing what is in store for these two and all their loved ones.
